The Intel® Learn Easy Steps program was originally developed by Intel(link is external) to provide digital literacy training to adult and youth learnings with little or no experience with computing devices. The course and activity cards provide introductory materials for use by learners who are new to technology. The materials are designed to help participants become familiar with the use of computing devices, productivity tools, and the internet. Through guided exploration, users can learn to use technology in their personal and professional life.
In 2018, Intel made the decision to release the Intel® Learn Easy Steps program as a freely available, open source version using a Creative Commons(link is external) license. All of the materials have been converted to Open Education Resources (“OER”) and published to the OER Commons(link is external) where they can be accessed and downloaded in order to re-use and re-mix.
