Toward a Collaborative System of Leadership Development: An Assessment of Alignment of the Center for Urban School Leadership's (CUSL) Evaluation Practices

The project employs narrative capture methodology, in which assistant principals participating in the professional development are prompted to write stories about the challenges and decisions they face in their day-to-day leadership, and to self interpret the stories. In doing so, the study provides snapshots of leadership styles, challenges, and successes, which in turn will be analyzed in relation to the school of education’s professional development services.
