At the OpenEd23 Conference last month, network leaders, Gina Loveless, Yvette McMahon-Arnold, Rebecca Henderson, and Amee Evans Godwin, presented a retrospective of the year’s webinar series outlined below:

Watch the session and view the slides that contain dozens of resources to support OER practice and policy including:

  • The gift of cross-state peer mentoring
  • District planning and OER implementation
  • Adapting resources to address accessibility and inclusivity
  • Remediating bias by localizing materials
  • Creating and using climate science resources
  • Impacts of OER professional learning for teachers
  • Policy actions that integrate OER into federal funded Digital Equity plans at the state level.
  • Connecting adult education supports and OER

Looking ahead to 2024, the network’s goal is to advance OER through more diverse awareness and increased participation as an important strategy.
