Creating Born Accessible OER

Discover how to create OER that are “born accessible” to meet the unique learning needs and preferences of your students. During this session we’ll provide a foundational understanding of OER accessibility, including an introduction to the Universal Design for Learning Guidelines. We’ll assess your specific accessibility needs, and evaluate your current practices and resources.

During this session we’ll provide a foundational understanding of OER accessibility, including an introduction to the Universal Design for Learning Guidelines. We’ll assess your specific accessibility needs, and evaluate your current practices and resources. Then we’ll explore exemplar resources and demonstrate workflows that utilize tools and templates to create resources that are accessible to all learners.
