For the past three years, we have been delighted to host Roadtrip Nation and their students at Big Ideas Fest. When the famous green RV pulled onto the roof of the Ritz Carlton’s parking lot last Sunday afternoon, the first day of Big Ideas Fest 2011, we knew we were in for another year of inspirational students and thoughtful interviews led by the maverick leadership team of Roadtrip Nation.

This year, eight students from South San Francisco High School led the charge and spent their time interviewing participants about their life journeys as well as fully participating in their design challenge-focused Action Collabs. They embraced the opportunity, and the students themselves were integral to the process of solving wide-reaching challenges in education within their own Action Collabs.

ISKME is honored to partner with Roadtrip Nation, as we share a common goal in ensuring that youth are not only heard but have ample opportunities to lead. Read more about Roadtrip Nation at Big Ideas Fest 2011 here.
